I spoke with a friend last night and we discussed that most great decisions are hard but the outcome & results are incredible! With my schedule it would be easy for me to say I don’t have time to train (yes our biggest excuse) but it is my priority! My flip question is “do you have time to be sick or injured?” All questions that you must answer yourself when you are ready! One thing I can tell you is once you change your lifestyle you will feel strong & confident and when those hard days knock you down- because they will, you will get up because you know not only your physical strength but your inner strength also! Core, legs & arms! Option here is to do without the Kettlebell but your progression is to work towards it! Mixing in the true high pull then working the bottom of the squat with an overhead crunch using the bosu ball (which will help you get into that squat)! Today using a heavier kettlebell, now if you are not there yet please use the weight that allows you to train 40 seconds with 20’seconds rest! Train Complex 3-4 x through them move into your cardio burst & lastly adding that “extra” core at the end! (Why do I say extra??? Bc you use your core throughout -especially when swinging the Kettlebell 💪!

💥Jump squat / fight stance / Jab Cross
💥Sit up / Elbow/ Leg Lift

I think as small children we are comfortable with ourselves then as we grow we find these insecurities that latch on to us. One of the greatest things I believe I can give you when you train with me is that I want you to be you when you show up. I tell my trainers that each of them are unique- and that we have a great program but only will it shine if they allow themselves to be REAL. Nobody is perfect and once you can realize this you can truly start living. In the past I had focused on perfection only to find myself lost. We are all uncomfortable when trying something new, so don’t add trying to be someone else into the mix! Show up... Do You & Be Uniquely Awesome!! Have a fantastic day!!

Kbkb Complex today using our Muay Thai push kicks or a snap kick! Why train a complex? Think of it this way , you don’t go through the day using a single leg movement - your movements flow from one to another. I am not saying that you shouldn’t train unilaterally - as you should and it’s very important but also important to train movements together!! Complex’s are a great way to train!
A great way to prep your brain to do this is to break it into sections for example :
💥Full Swing /Power Swing
💥Squat Push Kick (modify - bring feet together before executing the kick)
💥Halo/ Tricep Extension
After training separately train together ! A great workout is each for 40 seconds with 20 seconds of rest ! Train each 2x through ! Final round put it together for 60/120 seconds! 💪💪.

Limitations are set by You! Are there things possibly that you can’t perform as others, possibly but you can always find ways to execute to your best ability. If the swing is not possible you can still execute the mid rack into overhead press & tricep extension. Remember to be mindful of the weight you are using! Determination and discipline will get you there. I watch my Instagram friend @the_ghost_writer2208 and am inspired by him daily. So when you tell me you can’t train, most likely you can’t because you have decided in your mind that you can’t to do it yet! Do I think you can change that mindset - 💯 I believe you CAN!! So get your Start where ever you are ! Be Brave & Make That Positive Change!

💥High knee- leg extension or do a push kick
💥Hip opener - modified crescent kick & reverse back to high knee ( you can place both feet down to even out your balance if needed)
💥Inchworm out - modify - go from both feet flat inside of single leg
💥Runners stretch into thoracic twist
💥Kickout (modification - drop knee down and work through taking that leg forward - you may have to lower the hip down- it’s okay it’s your start)
💥Inch worm up

Before or as you watch please read....I do not recommend you go try this, i actually recommend am you not. I had my daughter on hand to hold a towel to dry the Kettlebell off & we made sure the board was fairly dry on the top. I wanted to share for 3 reasons:
💥1. It was simply FUN ... how I enjoy life by challenging myself (but always mindful) and I know I train my core to be strong to be able to try
💥2. To show what dedication & discipline can result in! Holidays does not mean I get to not train it means I get to enjoy sunrises, sunsets and I Get to still Train my body as I’m grateful & Love my body.
💥3. I wanted to show that we all have to work towards our goals/challenges... - not often is life a do it and get it right off the start- & that everyone’s goals and challenges are different & they should be !

Why do you train? It is so important to find reasons beyond weight loss & aesthetics. One of my biggest reasons is for my mental clarity and to be able to truly enjoy life!
